The OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification is one of North America’s most recognized entry-level safety credentials, covering the essential knowledge every construction worker needs before stepping onto a job site. From understanding your OSHA rights to correctly rigging a personal fall arrest system, this course builds the foundation for a safe and productive construction career.

What You Will Learn

• Know your OSHA rights including the right to a safe workplace, hazard information, and protection from retaliation
• Apply the 6-foot fall protection trigger for construction under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502
• Recognize and control all Fatal Four hazards: falls, struck-by, caught-in/between, electrocution
• Understand GFCI requirements, minimum power line approach distances, and electrical safety on site
• Meet PPE requirements — including the rule that employers must provide PPE at no cost to workers
• Know excavation standards: soil classification, protective systems, and the 5-foot trigger
• Understand OSHA’s silica PEL for construction and Table 1 compliance methods
• Read and complete OSHA 300/300A injury logs — including the 8-hour fatality reporting requirement
